Anet DunneWhen Anet was in her 20’s, she was a media buyer at ad agencies in New York City with clients like General Foods, Procter & Gamble and Bristol-Myers. She returned to college and finished her master’s degree in marketing before moving to San Francisco where she sold TV advertising time for KPIX, the CBS affiliate, for seven years. After selling millions of dollars of advertising, she turned her efforts to writing TV, moved to L.A. and worked for Gene Roddenberry during the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. As a member of the Writers Guild, she helped launch the Writers Guild Bulletin Board (BBS) system and organized more than 10 seminars to teach the new online technology to Hollywood writers.

Anet returned to sales, becoming the Internet Subject Matter Expert for Sprint when ISPs were just getting started. With her knowledge of national networks, Anet moved to telecom software sales and joined a softswitch startup in Santa Rosa in 1999. That company evaporated, along with most of its telecom competitors, in 2001. Anet returned to school and earned her Web Development Certification, meeting many skilled designers and programmers, and eventually started the Web development and marketing firm, A Net Gain For Revenue. Today, she puts her experience to work for businesses to translate their marketing messages to the Web and to use new advertising technologies to deliver those messages.
