I had been having lots of problems with Internet Explorer not behaving well and someone suggested that I switch to Firefox. I was reluctant to switch because I thought that it would require some kind of learning curve. Well I am not a tech newbie, having to learn something new often puts me out of sorts.

What I discovered was that installing Firefox took just a few minutes and that the issues that I had with IE pretty much went away. I still have occasional issues but Firefox has a restore function that is amazing.

The difference between Internet Explorer and Firefox is like the difference between driving a Ford Fiesta and a BMW. They'll both get you where you want to go but they do it in a very different style.

Using Firefox is great, and now I know that my resistance to doing so was completely unfounded. I didn't have to learn anything and Firefox is much smarter, more capable and sleeker than Internet Explorer. You might just want to give it a drive.

Isn't it interesting that Google has banned Microsoft Windows for their employees, except with permission of a CIO level executive. Google employees are expected to use Mac (which is linux based) or linux. Why? Security vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows.

Here's an article on the hacking of WordPress sites on GoDaddy. While I use GoDaddy for some domain name registrations, I would never recommend them for WordPress hosting http://www.wpsecuritylock.com/exploit-on-wordpress-returns-go-daddy-responds/ Same for Network Solutions.

I think GoDaddy would be confusing for a beginner to use because they bombard you with so many add-ons -- it could be difficult to navigate the first few times through. GoDaddy is one of the registrars I use, however. If you can hack your way through their advertising, they have full functionality. Have you read my blogpost on Choosing a Domain Name?

I received another DROA Domain Name Expiration Notice today. This time, for a domain name that I created, and has never been with DROA. Very troubling.

Comment on No Flash video on iPad & iPhone? by Anet Dunne

Well, it looks like it was Apple that barred Flash from the iPhone. On the NYTimes Bits Blog, Nick Bilton reported a change in the developer agreement for applications developers.

Under the heading “APIs and Functionality,” a paragraph states that Apple will not allow applications onto the iPad and iPhone unless they are built using Apple’s propriety software.

But wait! Google is also coming out with a Slate, and this one WILL run Flash, supposedly. In another Bits posting by Nick Bilton, partygoers reported that Eric Schmidt of Google spoke about a new device that would exclusively run the Android operation system and it will run Adobe Flash content and games.

So, maybe soon my Android phone will run Flash? It doesn't now. What I get looks a lot like the image at the top of this article.

I agree with Marissa. I am still trying to figure out how to take 20 years off my life, or maybe following Tim's advice and philosophy I will just act and feel like I'm 20 years younger. I'm not sure that I'll get to 4 hours but hope to whittle down my current schedule. It seems much more in reach with Tim Ferriss's ideas. Thanks for sharing.

Tim is simply the revolution of TIME with the 'E' left off for, evolved. Joking aside, as an entrepreneur...I wish I had the book in-hand when I was starting out at 25. Great present to budding business owners, HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS and inner-city youth.

Same experience here with the Las Vegas BBB -- they're definitely covering for TSF -- how distasteful is that! Would love to expose that situation as well.

As I mentioned in my previous post of 2/22, I enlisted the help of my credit card provider to get my money back (after reviewing all of my documentation, they debited TSF's account and credited mine, and made sure that TSF could never re-debit my account). But I remain ready at any time to join any effort to shut these people down. It's outrageous that these people are ABLE to continue doing what they are, with no intervention from any authority.

Those who have paid TSF by credit card should pursue the same remedy as I did.
