Graceful Residential Remodel and Design

This well-maintained ranch house from the 1980's is home to a professional couple and her father who was nearing age 90. They asked Jim to make the home wheelchair accessible. The ADA ramp is concealed by a stepped, concrete block wall with capstoned posts and stone veneer. Jim guided the homeowner's color selections for the exterior and new roof, choosing a rich hunter green for the shutters and trim and a subdued yellow to evoke the stately homes in equestrian communities.

"Now Dad can move safely on his own. We are totally delighted with the roofline which covers the ramp and gives our house a California Craftsman look. Jim's sensitivity and design flair made all the difference in the world."
